I was there for four days, so how well and how intimately could I get to know this space? Not much. The maddening, frenetic kaleidoscope of neon lights, the wild throng of people shuffling through the narrow, bending streets like sweeping schools of fish, the flash of odors - food, exhaust, crowds - was overwhelming. Dare I claim to have captured a portrait of this city?...

Though belatedly posted, the energy captured at this show is still fresh. Being able to find the perfect little nook and just shoot all this charisma made for a pretty exhausting yet inspiring evening.
